The thematic series page and the first of three sets of companion papers describing our results from this initial exploration of the genome biology of the waterflea are now published at BioMed Central:

Thanks to our contributors who have done excellent research by annotating this shared data resource. The first set of papers contains research articles on the genome biology of: immunity, chemoreception, meiosis, motor proteins, symbionts, proteins, cytochrome P450s, eicosanoid biosynthesis and acclimation to environmental stress.

There will be two other major installments to this page, as we receive the remaining 26 planned manuscripts.

Both BioMed Central and SCIENCE will broadly feature the total set, when we celebrate the completion of this final stage of our collaborative work.
